We are thrilled to be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the UNCG School of Music! For over a century, we have been a cornerstone for the performance, teaching, and research of music at all levels in the state, region, and beyond.

This year, the School of Music celebrates its 100th Anniversary. During the last century, we have been a cornerstone for the performance, teaching, and research of music at all levels in the state, region, and beyond. Our alumni distinguish themselves in important professional positions throughout the world while our renowned student ensembles perform frequently in prestigious state, regional, and international settings. We invite you to explore this website and celebrate with us throughout the year!

With over 500 music students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree programs, the UNCG School of Music is one of the largest and most comprehensive music schools in the country. We are proud to provide a world-class music education, nurturing our students’ artistic strengths and facilitating their path to success in their future careers. Our scholarship and fellowship programs recognize and reward students for their talent, allow communities that are underserved access to a world-class educational experience, and enrich the diversity of our student body.
