Public-facing web content is developed to a series of standards approved by the Web & Mobile Operating Committee (WAMO). These standards include:
- The UNCG Brand Guide – defines UNCG's logos, font, and color use as well as the content style guide.
- Page Template Wireframes – documents the structure of page templates and the blocks that may be used with them.
- Component Library (under development) – documents the purpose and behavior of the visual components used for building web pages.
- Next Generation Webpage Designs – from the new UNCG.edu home page to components to craft flexible inner pages, the new web designs offer engaging tools and flexibility to showcase the University.
- Primary Web Presence Information Architecture – defines the general hierarchy of pages that comprise the main UNCG website, www.uncg.edu.
The UNCG Web Design System is a work in progress driven by governance under development by subcommittees in the Web & Mobile Operating Committee as well as ongoing work managed through the Next Generation Web Project. Both of these efforts target Fall 2021 deliverables. This page will be updated as the UNCG Web Design System is developed. So, check often for the most current information.
