UNCG Track Prepares for 2022 Indoor Season

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Head coach Kaleigh Roach announced the 2022 men's and women's indoor track schedule Monday.
 
The 2022 indoor season will officially kick off this Saturday, January 15 with the Mondo College Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the JDL Fast Track with running and field events starting at 10 a.m.
 
The Spartans then head out of state for two meets. The first is the University of South Carolina Carolina Challenge from Friday, January 21 to Saturday, January 22, followed by the VMI Winter Relays from Friday, January 28 to Saturday, January 29.
 
UNCG returns to the JDL Fast Track to compete in the two-day Camel City Invitational, hosted by Cambell University from Friday, February 4 to Saturday, February 5. Liberty University hosts the Eighth Annual Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational from Friday, February 11 to Saturday, February 12 the next weekend.
 
The Spartans will conclude the regular season with the JDL DMR Invite where UNCG returns to the JDL Fast Track from Friday, February 18 to Saturday, February 19.

The two-day Southern Conference (SoCon) Indoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by VMI for the fifth-straight season at the VMI Corps Physical Training Facility in Lexington, Virginia from Friday, February 26 to Saturday, February 27. The Championships will be broadcast on ESPN+ with day one coverage starting at 1:30 p.m. and day two coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m.
 
Qualifying student-athletes won't see their indoor campaign end in Lexington however, with NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships taking place at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama from Friday, March 11 to Saturday, March 12.
