Softball Announces Fall 2022 Schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. –  The reigning 2022 Southern Conference (SoCon) UNC Greensboro (UNCG) softball team and head coach Janelle Breneman will kick off their fall schedule this Friday, September 15 to begin their six-game fall slate.
 
The schedule is highlighted by three home games and three games away from UNCG Softball Stadium. The Spartans will travel east to face the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m.

QUICK FACTS
  • The Spartans will open the fall slate with a game against Greensboro neighbor NC A&T on Friday, September 16 at 5:00 p.m.
  • UNCG will then host Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the UNCG Softball Stadium.
  • The following day, the Spartans travel to Boone, North Carolina to compete against Appalachian State University with a start time of 1:00 p.m.
  • UNCG hosts Queens (Charlotte) and NC A&T back-to-back on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8, respectively. The Spartans battle the Royals at 6:00 p.m. and the Aggies at noon.
  • On Saturday, October 22 UNCG heads down 85 to take on in-state rival Duke at 1:00 p.m. The Blue Devils made their second-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament last season and reached their first Super Regional.

Sept. 16 – UNCG at NC A&T – 5 p.m., Greensboro, N.C.
Oct. 1 – UNCG vs. Lenoir-Rhyne – 1 p.m., Greensboro, N.C. | UNCG Softball Stadium
Oct. 2 – UNCG at Appalachian State – 1 p.m., Boone, N.C.
Oct. 7 – UNCG vs. Queens (Charlotte) – 6 p.m., Greensboro, N.C. | UNCG Softball Stadium
Oct. 8 – UNCG vs. NC A&T – Noon, Greensboro, N.C. | UNCG Softball Stadium
Oct. 22 – UNCG at Duke – 1 p.m., Durham, N.C.
